The Flower Lady with Basket Framed Print

A framed print of The Flower Lady with Basket: a black-and-white pencil drawing of a flower seller carrying a tall basket of chrysanthemums.

This pencil drawing shows a scene Liz remembered from her time in Japan. A flower lady in a patterned kimono and wooden sandals walks with a lattice basket heaped with chrysanthemums on her back, a single bloom held out in one hand. A pale round sun and a few birds sit quietly in the corner, and the title is lettered by hand at her feet. From The Liz Collection, pencil drawings by Liz Miccio.

"Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these." Matthew 6:28-29 (ESV)

For the art lover, or a calm office wall. The quiet grey tones suit a study, a reading nook or an office where bright color would be too much. It pairs with The Flower Lady framed print and the other pieces in The Liz Collection. See more on our Office Wall Art page.
